Our guest for November's Cartoon County was the award-winning animator-turned-graphic novelist Chris Shepherd, whose first book is a graphic memoir about his childhood in 1980s Liverpool. Anfield Road centers around the working-class dynamics of Merseyside, and alongside a discussion of this, Chris chatted with host Alex Fitch about his collaborations on short films with Jim Medway and David Shrigley, and his memorable animated contributions to comedy sketch shows such as Big Train and Nathan Barley.
