As the dust settled on the General Election, July’s guest Mike Dicks talked to Alex Fitch about ten years of making political cartoons, serialised on social media under the title Trumpton, and his plans to make a collection. Trumpton started as a response to the Brexit campaign in 2016 with a Twitter account satirising Nigel Farage's activities at the time. Over the following eight years the cast of Trumpton expanded with characters coming and going according to the needs of the narrative, shared on Facebook and X.
