Celebrated graphic novelist Katriona Chapman was our guest on 19 August. Kat’s Breakwater, listed by the New York Times as one of the best graphic novels of 2020, crayons a beautiful portrait of Brighton as well as that of her characters, who work in an old (and familiar) Brighton cinema. Kat is an illustrator and comic creator living in London, and also head of marketing for Avery Hill, who are publishers of both Follow Me In (2018) and Breakwater (2020).
