Our guest this month is Nick Sayers, who since the start of the Covid outbreak has been drawing portraits of people in each of the 197 countries of the world, via Zoom, and writing stories of their lives in this time. The stories sequentially form a diary of life in those extraordinary days and beyond, to life ‘post-pandemic’.
Nick discusses with host Alex Fitch the history of the drawings, which started out as ‘Nick Draws Neighbours’, and his hopes to find a publisher for the collected Pandemic Portraits which form a graphic narrative of lockdown.
